Viva La Life
Diet and Exercise Check-in

Again, everything has been pretty consistent. The only change I’ve made is reintroducing carbs into my diet. I have one portion of carbs from bread, pasta, or rice. Usually try to eat these in the morning or before/after working out. This is mostly to be able to maintain my activity level. I’d been working out with low carb diet and it was draining on me. I was noticing that I was unable to do my best because my body was too low on glycogen. Anyways, yeah all good. My clothes feel awesome on me and I finally got a string bikini and I look and feel awesome wearing it! Haven’t stepped on the scale in a while but honestly I don’t care what I weigh because I look damnn sexy!

Bought my first bikini in five years! I love being fit and confident enough to wear it!

Check In

Everything is going well with my clean eating habits and with exercising. I’ve drastically increased my strength and endurance and can see a difference in how the weight sits on me. However, I’ve reached a plateau and am going to start incorporating fasted cardio and fasted HIIT into my plan.

If you are a white woman and you want to call yourself a feminist, you must acknowledge that your whiteness affords you a privilege that shields you from a lot. You must also acknowledge that you are afforded privileges that some men in this country do not have. Racism and sexism are tightly intertwined. You cannot fight one while ignoring the other.

plus classism (which everyone seems to forget about even though it’s still a massive problem??)

it really isn’t that much of an issue largely due to the fact that when you see people you can almost instantly discern their race and sex whereas their “class” is a different story.
